Dalton Gackle
Founder, Editor, and Senior Writer
Dalton grew up in the Chicago suburbs consuming and participating in all forms of popular culture. He started writing (semi)- professionally for his high school newspaper before earning degrees in Journalism and History from Iowa State University. While at ISU, Dalton worked for the student newspaper – the Iowa State Daily – as a photographer, Limelight (arts & entertainment) reporter, and later as the editor of the Limelight section. He also worked at his local community radio station -KHOI – as an engineer, producer, and reporter. After ISU, Dalton worked toward a master’s degree in Public History from Indiana University – Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI). He has had history articles published in the Park Record (Park City, UT)
